“What the Water Knows”

$1,200.00

Dimensions: 36”x48” gallery-wrapped canvas

Medium: Acrylic and oil sticks

Notes from the artist:

This painting has felt like a breakthrough piece for me in a season when I feel as if I’ve come through rough storms. The marks are free yet thoughtful; the color palette flowing yet somehow grounded. I’ve carried the word “untranslatable” around this year like a pebble I found and rubbed smooth with worry. The water can be calm, chaotic, a trickle, too much; so can we. And that’s just fine.

When I look back, this piece will have been a pin-point in shifts for me; one I’ll recall fondly as calling in a new era of work.

I hope it soothes you as it has me.

*Gold frame is not included. Please reach out for help finding framing options.
