Color in Motion is a six-week gathering challenging students to explore art with their full bodies and spirits. We’ll spend time moving stagnant energy in the body through jumping, swinging, crawling and leaping to create big, bold marks. Our time together will go beyond the typical art or dance workshop to give students WIDE OPEN SPACE to define their own color and line language. By combining body movement with art, students will build confidence in experimenting, recovering from messes and thinking way outside of the box. We’ll draw inspiration from the season as well, building a strong foundation for establishing lifelong creative practices rooted in natural cycles. Students should come dressed for mess with grippy socks. No dance or art experience is required.
Location: Dynamic Dance | 124 S. Broadway Georgetown, KY
*Parking on the street or behind the building in the city lot.
