Color in Motion is a six-week gathering challenging students to explore art with their full bodies and spirits. We’ll spend time jumping, swinging, crawling and leaping to create big, bold marks. Our time together will go beyond the typical desk-sized workspace children are used to and give them WIDE OPEN SPACE to define their own color and line language. By combining body movement with art, children will build confidence in experimenting, recovering from messes and thinking way outside of the box. We’ll draw inspiration from the season as well, building a strong foundation for establishing lifelong creative practices rooted in natural cycles. Children should come dressed for mess with grippy socks.
